North Thousand Islands People Enthusiastically Participate in Covid Vaccination

We have managed to exceed the target of 500 people

The North Thousand Islands Sub-district, Thousand Islands is targeting to vaccinate people aged 18-59 years.

Assistant for Thousand Islands Economic Administration and Development, Iwan P Samosir said, on June 23, as many as 523 people undergone the Covid-19 vaccination held in three urban villages.

30,652 Kebon Jeruk Residents Aged 18 years or Over Vaccinated

He detailed that Panggang Island had served 61 out of the target 200 people, Kelapa Island served 411 from the target 200 people and Harapan Island served 51 out of the target 100 people.

"We have managed to exceed the target of 500 people. We'll remain intensify it, moreover the vaccination service is open until the evening," he expressed, on the sidelines of the meeting at the vaccination center at SMPN 260 Pulau Harapan, Thursday (6/24).

North Thousand Islands Sub-district Head, Ismail added that Harapan Island had prepared three centers, namely at SMPN 260 Jakarta, Harapan Island Puskesmas and Harapan Island PKBM.

"Until noon, from three locations, we have served 50 people and only 43 passed the screening stage. Hopefully more people will come to get vaccine," he stated.
